![]() ![]() With this I can get a log of everything that Skyrim accesses and it even says if it is unable to access something it is looking for in the log. I do have all other processes excluded so that I only get what I have specifically allowed to be logged. Adding the original ESP back to my load order fixed my issues! When Skyrim crashed after barely getting to the load screen I went back to ProcMon and to the very last entry before it crashed to find it was trying to load a mod that I had just merged into a merged patch / mod. To do this I started up ProcMon and set a filter for Path > Contains > TESV and also Path>Contains>Skyrim just in case. Finally I decided to try ProcMon because I remembered it being really helpful with trouble shooting Sims 3 mod issues. I checked all my masters, loaded everything in TS5Edit and removed any error mods, and double checked everything with Loot (new Boss), and Wryebash but nothing fixed the issue. ![]() I was having issues with my Skyrim crashing on startup but I could not figure out why. You can set different filters to only show what processes you are looking for, in this case Skyrim or TESV. ProcMon or Process Monitor is a windows tool that logs what processes are running on your computer. This is pretty basic and not really a "guide" but it seemed like the most appropriate tag (teach us something useful). ![]()
